Just a coast run on this new vessel, London to Glasgow then caught the overnight train back to London and probably ‘working by’ on the mv Hertford.

I sailed on this lovely ship 1973/75. First joined at Avonmouth then sailed for NZ via London royal Albert dock and Hamburg docking first at Auckland. Returned to UK via Capetown paying off in Liverpool. Re joined in Newport for return to Kiwi coast via Hobart. Returned to UK and left ship at Sharpness.

Thanks for leaving your comments. Unusual returning to UK via Capetown, usually the other way round. Hope you enjoyed it!
